Ask our Marine Ambassador - Jessica Schultz

The marine areas of the Atl'ka7tsem/Howe Sound Biosphere Region are full of extraordinary life. We often have questions when walking near the water, at the beach or on a boat.

Jessica Schultz, a marine biologist has spent hundreds of hours below the water in Howe Sound in her role as the Manager of the Howe Sound Research and Conservation Program at Ocean Wise. Her passion is about advancing the conservation of our marine ecology through research, and communication to community, connecting people to the life below the water.

Jessica is a PhD Candidate of Integrative Biology at the University of Guelph specializing in marine biodiversity and ecology and is now the Marine Ambassador for our Biosphere Region Initiative. You can read more about Jessica at Emeraldocean.org.

If you have a question, please ask. While she can't know everything, she will find out.
