Future of Howe Sound Forum
Connecting people. Sharing perspectives. Shaping the future.
Hosted by the Howe Sound Biosphere Region Initiative Society (HSBRIS), this special, by-invitation forum brings together elected officials, First Nations and community leaders from across the region.
Join us to:
Meet and connect with new colleagues from communities and sectors across the Howe Sound region.
Hear about the collective issues facing the region and indicators of progress towards the common values.
Participate in roundtable discussions on what the key leadership qualities will need to be to lead towards a sustainable future.
Learn more about the Átl’ḵa7tsem / Howe Sound UNESCO Biosphere and the Nchu’ú7mut/Unity Plan
Perspectives on the Future
What will the future of Howe Sound look like from the perspectives of foresters, developers, tourism operators, and outdoor recreation leaders?
Come hear from visionaries working across the region and join a conversation about how we can work together toward a sustainable future.
The informal networking is also an opportunity to meet colleagues from around the region and kick off the 2026–2030 local government term together.
The Howe Sound Biosphere Region Initiative Society is the coordinator of bi-annual Howe Sound Community Forums, which will resume in April 2027.
